Blueprint SG Highlights 2013

A lot of exciting things bubbling over and developing from our two days at Blueprint.  Amy Chao my new accessory design partner and I had quite a productive and fun time.

We saw Joanna Koh, a make-up artist and model I had worked with a few years back in Bali.  Joanna has a great blog where you can read up on how the show was for her.

We were asked to collaborate with Swarovski Elements for this show, here it is in there super shiny-blingy Pavillion.

Is it Mother's Day yet?

It's a different day in each country hard to keep track.  I think Mother's day should be everyday.  Give that special person in your life a call today to tell them exactly how much they mean to you!

Garnet is your January Birthstone

The healing properties of the January birthstone are reputed to be effective for health problems relating to the blood, heart, lungs and infection.  The garnet is also used to enhance sensuality and sexuality.

This ring can be worn three ways, can you figure it out?  It's a classic since the year 2000, and will never go out of style.

Are you aware of the benefits of Sirsak | Soursop leaves?

SIRSAK -  Natures Offering of Help and Hope

The leaf of the Graviola tree set in resin for you to wear -

A potent symbol of Mother Natures ability to provide for your every need.

The fruit, leaves, roots, bark and stems of this plant (also known as sour-sop), found in the ancient rain-forests of Indonesia and the Amazon have been used for centuries by native medicine men to treat heart disease, asthma, liver problems and arthritis.

Initial clinical tests showed extracts from this plant to contain powerful agents that :
-          Act as broad spectrum anti-microbials against bacterial and fungal infections, intestinal parasites and worms
-          Work to lower high blood pressure and alleviate depression, stress and other nervous disorders.

Further tests conducted in 1976 by The National Cancer Institute of The United Sates gave stunning results:
The Graviola's "leaves and stems were found effective in attacking and destroying malignant cells."
10,000 times stronger in slowing the growth of cancer cells than commonly used chemotherapy drugs, this trees natural medicine selectively destroys cancer cells only, with no harmful side-effects for healthy cells.
The medicine and message of the sirsak (as it is known in Indonesia, home of Nagicia) are brought to light beautifully in the Kupu-Kupu & Bambu Laut collection.
